Salesforce for advice and wealth firms

Make Salesforce work better for your advice firm.

Shape Salesforce around adviser work, client service and the systems that complete the advice process.

Useful extensions around Salesforce.

Adviser home

Bring meetings, active advice work, implementation, opportunities and attention items into one role-specific Salesforce view.

Client onboarding

Create guided data capture, document and approval journeys that use the agreed Salesforce household and client records.

Client portals

Give clients a simpler branded experience while Salesforce continues to coordinate the underlying service and relationship work.

Flow and automation

Use Salesforce Flow and agreed platform events to route tasks, approvals, follow-ups and operational exceptions.

Document surfaces

Connect SharePoint, Microsoft 365 or another governed document store without losing the client and workflow context in Salesforce.

Integration and reporting

Connect planning, portfolio, advice-production and reporting systems to the correct Salesforce records and actions.

System boundary

Decide who owns what before building.

Salesforce platform

Provides licensed cloud services, Financial Services Cloud capabilities, security controls, APIs and standard platform tooling.

Luminair

Designs and builds agreed Lightning, portal, integration and workflow extensions, then tests and supports the custom software.

Your firm and partner

Own the Salesforce org, data model, permissions, compliance decisions, core configuration and release approvals.

One relationship record, clearer experiences around it.

Salesforce should remain authoritative for the agreed household, relationship and work records. Adjacent client portals, document systems and advice tools connect through explicit contracts rather than informal duplicate data.

An adviser home that leads to the next real action.

The final mapping uses the objects, permissions and workflows verified in your Salesforce org.

Meeting and active work

The adviser home brings the next meetings and current advice, implementation and opportunity work into one useful starting view.

Needs attention

Overdue implementation, renewal or service items are surfaced using verified Salesforce objects and business rules.

Client action

A portal or guided form collects a document, confirmation or request and returns it to the agreed workflow.

Record and document context

Salesforce remains the relationship and work record while governed documents remain in the chosen document system.

Choose native, AppExchange or custom with intent.

Configure before customising

Use standard Financial Services Cloud, Flow, OmniStudio and existing AppExchange products where they meet the requirement.

Extend a defined gap

Custom work is useful for a role-specific adviser experience, differentiated client journey or integration that standard configuration cannot resolve cleanly.

Keep governance explicit

Object ownership, permissions, release environments, audit needs and integration limits must be settled before build decisions are locked.

The public capability is framed honestly.

Luminair has designed Salesforce-native adviser workspace patterns using Lightning Web Components and Salesforce Lightning Design System conventions. This demonstrates product and implementation capability, not a claim that a client Salesforce org has already been deployed.

A safe integration path

Start with one complete flow, then expand.

01

Map ownership

Agree which system owns each record, action and approval.

02

Prove access

Confirm the supported API, permissions, sandbox and vendor constraints.

03

Build one flow

Deliver the smallest complete client or staff workflow first.

04

Test and launch

Run business acceptance, security checks, training and release readback.

Focused integration work commonly starts at $7k-$12k + GST.

Connected portals or staff applications commonly cost $25k-$45k + GST. Access, data quality, security and workflow complexity determine the final scope.

Salesforce integration questions, answered plainly.

Does Luminair implement all of Salesforce?

Not by default. Luminair is best used for a focused advice-firm product, workflow or integration scope, working with your internal owner or Salesforce implementation partner where required.

Can Luminair build directly inside Salesforce?

Yes, where the agreed solution belongs in Salesforce. That can include Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow and Financial Services Cloud-aligned interfaces.

Can Luminair build a separate client portal connected to Salesforce?

Yes. The portal can provide a tailored client experience while agreed relationship, service and workflow records remain in Salesforce.

How do you avoid creating duplicate client data?

A source-of-truth map defines which Salesforce objects own each record, which data is read-only and which client changes require approval before update.

Can you connect Salesforce to SharePoint or Microsoft 365?

Yes, subject to the firm’s Microsoft and Salesforce permissions, data policy and the supported connection pattern selected during discovery.

Is the Salesforce adviser-home example already deployed in a client org?

No public deployment claim is made. Luminair has designed and tested Salesforce-native adviser-home patterns, but each client org still requires authenticated deployment, permissions and App Builder placement.
